You should wear comfortable clothes and sturdy footwear (sneakers are best).

A multi-speed bike with fenders, a helmet, and a basket will be provided for an additional cost of $15/hour per bike.
How long do the tours take and how far are they?
How long do the tours take and how far are they?
Each guided tour lasts approximately 1-1/2 to 2 hours but your tour may be accommodated to last a longer amount of time if requested. A tour of the perimeter is roughly 8.2 miles. A tour of the interior will vary based on the landmarks your group decides on, but will likely be between 4-6 miles in total.

What level of rider do I need to be to take a guided tour?
Tours of the Perimeter:
Everyone will be comfortable on the guided tours around the Islands Perimeter. This tour operates on paved trails on the car free streets of Mackinac Island.
Tours of the Interior:
This ride is more challenging than a tour of the perimeter. Riders for this tour should be comfortable with many hills and/or be prepared to walk their bike up/down these hills as needed.

Tours of the Perimeter:
Half-way around the island, we will stop for a bathroom break at Historical British Landing.
Tours of the Interior:
There are public bathrooms located at Arch Rock.
How much does it cost?

Individuals
$60/person (2 hour tour)
$25/person for each additional hour over the standard 2 hour tour
Bikes
$30/person (2 hour tour)
$15/person for each additional hour over the standard 2 hour tour
i) 50% deposit will be required at the time of booking. Deposits will be refunded in the event of bad weather.
ii) First responder discount of 10% available only for that person (not their group)
